Syria: Rights of women and girls hang in the balance as conflict passes 12-year mark and earthquakes deepen suffering

UNFPA and partners assist women affected by the February earthquakes in Suran, Hama Governorate. UNFPA supports 14 women’s and girls’ safe spaces in northwest Syria, where women and girls exposed to violence can go to recover and receive protection, information and advice.
